OmniPanel helps you surface key insights from your help desk. The root cause is typically found within the data context. Whenever you build a new theme, you tell us the fields to look up for all users that had a specific problem.
In order to provide these user lists, we integrate with your helpdesk, marketing system, e-commerce system, and logistics provider. Whenever you generate a user list, we can pull in the relevant data context provided by your third party providers.
The data is held between your company & your service provider. We force HTTPS on all connections, so data in-transit is encrypted with TLS. We also encrypt all database data at-rest with AES-256. We host all servers in the US, in data centers that are SOC 1, SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certified. Our data centers have round-the-clock security, fully redundant power systems, two-factor authentication and physical audit logs.
We only have "Read-only" permission on your systems. This means that it is impossible for OmniPanel to ever update anything on your system. For example, we could never change a price, cancel an order, or send a support message. OmniPanel only brings in data from your service providers to help you match data context around specific issues as necessary.
Yes, your data is secure, and is always stored by you, or your integration provider (Shopify, Zendesk, etc).
When you build a user list, the OmniPanel backend sends the request to your integration provider. None of the data returned by your integration source is stored on our end long term. We store necessary components in short memory for performance and speed access, but this is temporary.
